John McCain is talking about counters to what Obama says. McCain is connecting his assaults on Obama's character to what he thinks Obama will say. This shows that McCain is just thinking about countering everything Obama says to make him win the election. McCain is asked," What if Obama just ignores you and turns the other cheek?" This furthermore shows that McCain wasn't expecting for Obama to be nice. In it all, McCain is set on defeating Obama's comments instead of telling the people his thoughts.

I think this states that Bush has enough work to do, yet McCain and Palin don't care. McCain and Palin are standing outside the Whitehouse; they are in a speech stand with no crowd. This shows how they are giving a bunch of pointless speeches. McCain is saying," Watch out Mr. Bush! With the exception of economic policy and energy policy and social issues and tax policy and foreign policy and supreme court appointments and rove-style politics, we're coming in to shake things up!" This further shows McCain doesn't care about Bush's other things he has to do, he just wants to mess him up so he can look good. In all, McCain and Palin don't care about anything but winning the election.

Collage

This collage represents the Republican campaign and it's beliefs. It is also known as the grand old party. The Elephant represents Republicans. One of their beliefs is the return of power to State Governments. I didn't find much on this campaign.

This collage reflects the Democratic ideas. It shows their individual rights for the people. The donkey symbolizes the Democrats. This also shows how they want the government to act. Although they say this, you can never be sure if they are truthful.

Politial Cartoon 6

Bush and McCain are exactly the same. In the first three slides, McCain is agreeing with Bush and the Iraq War. This shows how they both want the Iraq War to continue. On the fourth slide, Bush is saying,” You should be president” to John McCain, who is holding a sign saying,” Vote for John McSame!” This further shows how Bush supports McCain, and how everything will stay the same. So if we choose McCain, nothing will change and issues, such as the Iraq War, will go on.

Technology

McCain seems to agree with previous ideas for technology. He won’t address the digital divide directly and not change other issues such as this one. He wishes to continue to make the internet available to everyone from schools to libraries (filtered of course). He doesn’t want the government to completely control the internet. Mainly everything will stay the same, with little differences.

Obama has some new ideas for technology. He is supporting those phone networks with internet. He also wants to get more attuned with other countries, and share the technology we have. Google also supports him, and he wants to eliminate the extra fees the ISP charge to the search engines. So this might change a few things for the better, or the worse.


McCain:

Keep everything the same as possible without losing power.

Obama:

Try to change as much bad things as possible to appear good.
